The Department of Music Education Research, Music Didactics and Elemental Music Making and the Department of Music and Movement Education/Rhythmics and Music Physiology of the University of Music and performing Arts Vienna in collaboration with the MERYC Conference invite researchers, educators and community members to present their work onmusic pedagogy aiming at young children (age 0–8). In the center of the conferences focus will be the topic of making the world of music accessible for young children and the importance of improvising.
